This summer, we’re stepping into something we’re calling the Summer of FOR—because at Ridge, we want to be known for who and we’re FOR. We’re not just talking about it—we’re living it. And you’re invited to be part of it.
You’ll often hear us use what we call “FOR” language, and that’s intentional. We are FOR lost sons and daughters who are searching for hope and a way home. We are FOR the marginalized—those who’ve been overlooked or pushed aside. We are FOR the next generation, raising up kids and students to know God and lead with courage. And we are FOR our community, stepping in with love, generosity, and practical support.
Check out some highlights of the summer as well as a full calendar.
TAKE 5
After the service on these Sundays, stick around for an extra 5 minutes to get to know someone new. It’s a great Sunday to invite a friend and have fun with us together.
JUNE 15
Father’s Day Edition
JULY 21
National Ice Cream Day Edition
AUGUST 24
National Waffle Day Edition
FOR THE COMMUNITY DAYS
Set aside two special Sundays—June 22 and August 10—to serve our community in place of our regular services. We’ll begin the morning together with communion at 9:30am, then head out in teams to serve through both onsite and offsite projects alongside our partners. After serving, we’ll regroup for a picnic lunch on the grounds at Tower Commons—a chance to connect and celebrate what God is doing FOR our community.
SUMMER SERVE TEAM
Together every Sunday, we’re creating spaces FOR lost sons and daughters to connect with God. You can be a part of that! If you aren’t already serving, find 4 Sundays to serve on a team and see what can happen through you.
[FOR] FUND
The [FOR] fund is specifically designed to impact both the marginalized and the next generation of our community. Your generosity this summer will help fuel incredible things in our community and across the globe. It will help fund the good work being done on the “FOR the Community Days”.
JUNE 15 – Summer of FOR Kickoff
- Take 5: Father’s Day Edition
- Baptism Celebration!
- Student Camp Sendoff
This is a do-not-miss Sunday! Our friend Jon Rouleau is sharing a special message ending with baptism. We’ll celebrate Father’s Day with Take 5 – that’s were we take a little extra time after the service to connect with someone new. It’s always a great Sunday to invite a friend to join you. You’ll also get a chance to get the name of a Student you will pray for while they are away at camp. It’s a Sunday full of purpose, connection, and encouragement.
JUNE 20-24 – Student Camp
Our students are heading to BigStuf Camp—a time designed for fun, connection, and spiritual growth. These moments away from the everyday have a way of bringing big impact. It’s not that God speaks louder at camp, but that students often hear Him more clearly when they’re surrounded by worship and community. We’re believing this will be a powerful, unforgettable experience that helps shape the faith of the next generation for years to come.
JUNE 22 – FOR the Community Day
The first of two Sundays we’re setting aside to specifically serve our community and community partners instead of having our regular services. We’ll gather together at 9:30am for a morning of communion, multiple options to serve that day, and picnic lunch together will be provided. PICK YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We’re continuing the conversation about the Fruit of the Spirit with GOODNESS. Each message focuses on one aspect of the produce that comes into our lives when we yield to Him.
July 6 – NO SERVICES
Two times a year, we take a Sunday off to give our amazing volunteers and staff a well deserved break to spend with family and friends; but don’t worry, we won’t be gone for long.
July 13 – Faithfulness: What Our World Needs Now
We’re continuing our conversation on the Fruit of the Spirit with a focus on FAITHFULNESS—the quiet strength that reflects God’s character. When we yield to the Spirit, this is the kind of fruit that takes root and makes a lasting impact.
July 20
- Gentleness: What Our World Needs Now
- Take 5: National Ice Cream Day Edition
We’ll talk about the Fruit of the Spirit and the quality of GENTLESESS. It’s also National Ice Cream Day–so…nothing else needs to be said! During Take 5, we take a little extra time after the service to connect with someone new.
July 27 – Self-Control: What Our World Needs Now
It may be the last in the list, but it certainly deserves some attention–SELF-CONTROL. You’ll want to be there as we finish up this series on the Fruit of the Spirit.
AUGUST 10 – FOR the Community Day
The second of two Sundays we’re setting aside to specifically serve our community and community partners instead of having our regular services. We’ll gather together at 9:30am for a morning of communion, multiple options to serve that day, and picnic lunch together will be provided.
AUGUST 15 – Acoustic Nights Tour
Join us for the first of our acoustic worship nights in the café—a cozy, stripped-down evening of music and connection. With limited seating, you’ll want to come early and grab a spot. These nights have a way of slowing us down and drawing us close. It’s bound to be one of your favorite moments this summer.
AUGUST 17 – New Series Begins: “Check Your Heart”
Monitoring the physical condition of your heart is important. We count our steps, engage in tests, and take medications… But what about the spiritual condition of your heart? The wisest man in history said, “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” In this series, we’ll discuss monitoring the condition of your heart to ensure what flows from it is as
healthy as possible.
AUGUST TBD – Piney Grove Open House
